Looking for responsible kennel help for busy doggy day care located in both Ronkonkoma & Port Jeff Station. Must be able to interface with both the humans and the dogs in a mature manner. Position requires heavy cleaning, a love for animals and the ability to multi-task.
Flexibilty is a must! We are open from 6am - 8pm weekdays, 8am - 6pm on Saturdays and 9-2 on Sundays. Our schedule changes weekly due to some periods being busier than others. I.e. the more dogs we have the more people we need working. Initially the hours will be between 6am and 12:30pm Mon - Fri. Please DON'T apply if you cannot work these hours, are allergic to dogs or are afraid of dogs. Please DO apply if you love animals and enjoy working in a family owned, small business environment.
This job is ideal for those interested in working with animals. You will be observing and managing packs of dogs on a daily basis. There will also be training on basic veterinary care and obedience training.
